Product Overview

This is a fully-automated continuous line that coats and dries substrates such as paper, film, foil, and membrane at high speed and high accuracy in a roll-to-roll operation. The coating head is a slot die, which provides excellent coating quality stability and reproducibility, and the RS coater head can also be used for irregularly shaped coating. The RS coater head enables the application of irregularly shaped coating, and the system is also compatible with intermittent coating.
The slot die is designed based on fluid analysis and backed by extensive experience.
No dew point cover is used, facilitating substrate handling and significantly reducing the use of low dew point atmospheres

Features & Specifications
  • Non-contact coating method prevents foreign matter and defects caused by roping.
  • Closed-circuit coating means that the evaporation area of the solvent is small and there is no change in the properties of the coating liquid.
  • Wide viscosity range from low viscosity to high viscosity (several mPa-s (cps) to 50,000 mPa-s (cps))
  • Supports a wide range of film thicknesses from thin films to thick films (~1,000 μm/wet)
  • Coating speeds from low to high (0.1 to 200 m/min)
  • Simple and compact structure for easy maintenance and inspection
