Slit-shaped burner tile exit to form a fast, straight, flat flame

This burner forms a high-speed, straight, flat flame from the slit-shaped burner tile exit. The large surface area of the flame is particularly excellent in its ability to heat materials uniformly. Even when combustion is below the theoretical air ratio, the free oxygen concentration is extremely low, making this burner particularly effective for non-oxidizing heating of open flames. The C-CFB-II model for room temperature air and the H-CFB-II model for preheated air up to 500°C are available.
