This furnace (AL-SREG) is a crucible holding furnace dedicated to hot charge mainly for aluminum die casting.
The use of a high-efficiency self-regenerative burner (SREG) system developed specifically for crucible furnaces and the reinforced insulation and sealing of the crucible furnace body enable significant energy savings. In addition, the SREG system is extremely compact because it uses only one regenerative burner to perform the function of thermal storage and combustion, which previously required two regenerative burners, thus enabling effective use of installation space, including peripheral equipment and construction costs, to be significantly reduced.
