Title Received an order for a direct-heating hydrogen burner for an aluminum melting and holding furnace from Aisin Co.

This hydrogen burner will be used in a demonstration experiment using a direct hydrogen-fueled heating burner as part of the carbon neutralization of the aluminum melting and holding furnace at the Nishio Plant of Aisin Seiki Co. 1
Our hydrogen burner was jointly developed with Toyota Motor Corporation in 2018, and is the world's first general-purpose hydrogen combustion burner for industrial use. 2
Hydrogen is a good source of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions, it is attracting attention as a decarbonized fuel suitable for the industrial furnace sector, which consumes about 17% of Japan's energy.
We will continue to develop hydrogen-fueled combustion equipment and industrial furnaces to contribute to the coming decarbonized society.
